Who We Are
We are followers of Jesus who gather to worship in downtown Winnipeg. We believe in the Bible as the revealed Word of God, and are passionate about His presence and the gifts of His Holy Spirit.
.
In our church community, we praise together, pray together, celebrate together, rejoice together, grieve together, and seek together. Though we’re a community made up of young and old, single and married, what we have in common is a desire to come together in worship, prayer, and healing, and a longing to see and feel even more of the person of Jesus.
.
We welcome any who would like to learn more about God and His son Jesus to come and join us on our journey.
.
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
.
OUR VISION
Our vision is for each person to be liberated from sin through faith in Jesus Christ and to be strengthened in Him to love God and live a life fully pleasing to Him.
We emphasize justification by faith, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and righteous living to the glory of God.
OUR PLAN
Our plan is to give preeminence to Jesus Christ and keep a clear vision of Him in front of us at all times.
Our plan is to continue to pray and fast together weekly to seek His particular benefits for one another and to discern His unfolding will for us.
Our plan is to develop a core community of believers who are continually maturing in the Lord’s design, who persevere in hope, and who function in the gifts of the Spirit to serve others.
Our plan is to engage in a dynamic and rigorous life of worship together, where we are free to respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit, where we eat the Lord’s Supper together, and are taught and encouraged to actively apply to ourselves what is written in the Scriptures.
Our plan is to develop a corporate awareness of the younger generation and a desire to transfer the church to them.
Our plan is to learn to tell the Gospel to others and live that Gospel among our friends in the world.
Our plan is to develop a corporate interest in other nations.
Our plan is to continue to exposit the Bible together, with the eventual goal of starting a Bible School.
OUR CONFESSION
Q: What is the chief and highest end of man?
A: Man’s chief and highest end is to glorify God, and fully to enjoy Him forever.
(The Larger Catechism, question 1)

Q: What is your only comfort in life and death?
A: That I am not my own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil. He also preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, all things must work together for my salvation. Therefore, by His Holy Spirit He also assures me of eternal life and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for Him.

We hold to an orthodox and classical understanding of Christian faith as expressed in the Apostle’s, Nicene, Athanasian and Chalcedonian creeds.
We believe in the authority of the Scriptures, personal conversion and discipleship, the centrality of the Cross, and telling the Gospel to others.
